Day 1 - Arrival in Laos - Luang Prabang (D)

Day 2 - Luang Prabang (B,L)Take a city tour, starting with visits to some of the town's most spectacular temples. After lunch, continue to the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre where you can learn about the various ethnic groups and cultures living in Laos. As the day comes to a close, climb to the top of Mount Phousi for panoramic views of the city and wander amongst the stalls of the evening hill tribe market. |

Day 4 - Luang Prabang - Kamu Lodge (B,L,D)Travel up the Mekong River to the Pak Ou caves where thousands of Buddha statues fill the limestone grottos. Continue up the river to Kamu Lodge, an eco-lodge set amongst a traditional Kamu village. Here you will have the chance to participate in various activities of the local people such as rice planting, gold panning, jungle trekking, and fishing with local techniques. |
